Generally speaking, you do not need to buy a membrane or jacket when you purchase an O2 electrode. We do, however, recommend that you purchase an electrode service kit with your electrode as it comes with 6 replacement membraned jackets.

Also, note that membranes are no longer sold separately but are jacketed.
