Why is the full bandwidth of the PC-501 amplifier only 10kHz? It seems low in comparison to most other similar amplifiers.

 

The bandwidth is a legacy artifact of the early design of the instrument. If greater bandwidth is needed, then consider the PC-505B since it has a full bandwidth of 25 kHz, well above your filter setting.
