The term 'stop-flow' assumes there will be a perfusion system in place, but the flow is intended to stop periodically.
First, we've never specifically tested the chamber as a stop-flow device and so have not quantitated how the solution comes to rest. We have made many informal measurements with colored solutions, however, and it appears to behave well. Also, there are no dead spots in the flow path and we've not seen any anomalies in the bath.
