Is there an advantage to using an acrylic pipette holder instead of the stainless steel pipette holder included in the PLI-90 Plus package?

 

Use of an acrylic holder avoids potential heavy metal contamination.  However, it is easier to clean the stainless steel holder since it can withstand organic solvents such as ethanol.
