How do I replace the thermistor on a TA-29 cable?

 
1.  Remove insulating tubing covering solder joints between TS-70B thermistor and shielded cable.
2.  Remove inner insulating tubing covering solder joints between TS-70B thermistor and inner-conductor of shielded cable.
3.  Unsolder broken thermistor and solder on replacement thermistor.
4.  Replace inner and outer insulation tubing with electrical tape.
