Yes, however, the feedback thermistor is needed for automatic temperature regulation. If it is omitted, then only manual temperature control is available.

The white feedback thermistor from the CC-28 cable is inserted into the platform body to allow automatic temperature control. Without the white thermistor, then the only option is to use the temperature controller in manual mode. In manual mode,  the temperature in the bath is monitored using the small red monitor (T2) thermistor and any temperature adjustments must be made manually.
