Why won't the PM-8 Pressure Injector release the cell from the holding pipette even after the RELH has been pressed?

This is likely due to the hold vacuum being set too high. In general, the hold pressure regulator controls both the hold vacuum as well as the clear-hold pressure. The higher the holding vacuum, the higher clear-hold pressure will be.

Press the CLRH button to push the cell out of the holding pipette. If CLRH shoots the cell too far away, reduce the hold pressure.
