  1. questionIs a continuous light air bleed normal with the Pressure Injectosr?
A light air bleed is normal. The precision pressure regulators in our injectors continuously bleed a small amount of air to operate correctly. However, if the air leak is loud and heavy, or varies with regulator adjustments, then a worn out regulator is implied.

  2. questionIs there an advantage to using an acrylic pipette holder instead of the stainless steel pipette holder included in the PLI-90 Plus package?
Use of an acrylic holder avoids potential heavy metal contamination. However, it is easier to clean the stainless steel holder since it can withstand organic solvents such as ethanol.
